  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or mint leaves, chopped
  • Additional olive oil for drizzling
  • Black sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the halved strawberries with balsamic vinegar, honey, and a pinch of black pepper. Spread the strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for 15-20 minutes until soft.
