  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • Zest from 1/2 orange
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Milk (for the glaze)
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt; gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 6–8 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with apricot jam and sprinkle with orange zest. Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
  5. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise for an additional 30–40 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk and orange blossom water until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
