  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Cook until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the skillet.
  4. Add gnocchi; bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, stir in heavy cream, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Return chicken and add grated Parmesan cheese; stir until melted and heated through.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
