  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 12 oz linguine noodles
  • Diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with minced ginger and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Meanwhile, boil salted water in a pot and cook the linguine noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and hoisin sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the cooked beef; sauté for about 3 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, mixing thoroughly to coat all noodles in the sauce. Cook for an additional couple of minutes.
  6. Serve hot garnished with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
