  • 500g flank steak or sirloin
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef by mixing it with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil in a bowl for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok over high heat; stir-fry the marinated beef until browned, then set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add garlic, ginger, onion, and bell peppers; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Return the beef to the wok and add the sauce mixture (soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar). Stir until well-coated.
  5. Serve hot over steamed white rice.
